New SnowSphere Blog launches - SnowSphere goes web 2.0

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

We finally thought it was about time we gave into the MyFace generation and got all web 2.0 on yo' ass. So, we're introducing some new social media features to SnowSphere.com, the first of which is this very blog that you're reading now.

Here we'll largely be stepping out of the cold world of winter sports, and bringing you various bytes of life from around the wacky world in which we live. Pretty much anything goes as long it's interesting. And if it's on SnowSphere, you knows it's interesting. Innit?

We're also launching blog comments, so you can now have your say about what we write. Think SnowSphere is a right load of old tosh? Tell us. Think SnowSphere is the greatest online magazine for snow travellers in the world (you knows it)? Speak up. We'll soon be extending the comments feature to all of our articles, so stay tuned for that development coming soon.

And finally, to make up our web 2.0 trio, we've added social media bookmarking features to the blog, so if you think a post is worth sharing -  you can digg us, reddit us, facebook us, StumbleUpon us etc - and do whatever else a social bookmarker does. Again, we'll be extending this feature to all articles soon.

So don't delay -share you comments and bookmarks with the world today!
